Text Talkers!

Yep, you know the kind, who think that they are sending us notes on the cell phone. Here are examples:
“how r u?”   “im in cali wher r u?”   “u 2 r so cute”

That’s what I mean.. For god sakes! Buy a Vowel and spin! Vanna is getting paid to turn the damn letters, so work her! It’s getting to the point where I am starting to ignore people who have a fear of proper English. I make a lot of mistakes when I type, but at least I try. Capitalization, punctuation, grammar rules, spelling. I try. These people don’t and it bugs the hell out of me. I start to tune out now when I hear people talking like this.

We are not limited to 140 characters like on Twitter or your cell phone. Use the extra letters to make yourself understood. Use the extra letters to make yourself look more intelligent than a termite. Use them! PLEASE!

Here are a few reasons to use all the proper letters:

1. It makes you seem smarter than you are
2. It allows others to understand you
3. You wont look like your 13 years old
4. Velveeta will actually talk to you if you do!

And these are some damn good reasons. I like #4 best

Well we missed it.

Gabs and I turned 1000 Days old yesterday, and we thought it was today. Silly us. We went to the shelter to click the green post and go “Hooooooooooo!”, but instead we clicked, read 1001 and went “Awwwwww” as we had missed a day we have been looking forward to. But I blame Misty.

Why? Well that is easy. Misty gave Gabs a LM to a place for poses. Of course this was around the same time I had a 4-way with Gabs, Misty and Vel *Dirty Minds! It was on Skype* So off we go. As soon as we land, we see the rain! OMG! Rain! And Puddles! So after looking around, I had to find the rain maker, which I did, and lookup the creator and get a LM. Next thing you know, we have TP’d to the shop and bought a weather maker.

We ran off home and set it up and started to play with the weather. So Cool! Little Rainshowers, puddles, clouds. AND SNOW! Hoooooooooo! So I reset things and read the help files and start to play. Within minutes I had a full blown thunderstorm happening on our entire sim! And then the it happened….

A Tornado formed on a corner of the sim! I am NOT kidding! We stood and watched as it swirled around kicking up dirt and lightning crashed around us. It was awesome. By this time its late, and Gabs heads off to bed.

Gabs thought the rain would sound nice to fall asleep to. I had set it up on Auto change of severity of rainstorm every 60 minutes. Apparently she woke and had to come turn down the Lightning Storm. Harley was barking his head off!! At one point I looked at the screen from the Sofa and saw a Tornado in the Tree House! Its Awesome! Cant wait to show people

Update: Forgot to mention, it has a Lava Rain and Meteor storm option.. LOL

Okay, in about 2 weeks, I am taking this home to play with.

Seems a Skunk took a wander by the building. Close to my patio, and something spooked it. So it sprayed. Fortunately it was 2 doors down. But my windows were open and I knew it within seconds. this was about 12:50am. After I got over the heaving that accompanied the reaction in my brain as its odor filled my nose, I was able to sorta block it out, but its taken a while.

Suffice to say, I am wide awake. I took the trash out and when I walked back into the apartment, I realized its still very bad.

Good Time to do dishes. Or something. Maybe not. Hey look, Infomercials…. *wanders off to watch the ShamWow Guy*

Okay, if you live anywhere near Toronto Ontario, you know that we are in the midst of a Civic Workers Strike. This has affected City Services such as but not limited to; Daycare, Community Centers, Parks and Recreation Facilities, City Permit Offices and Garbage and Recycling collection. We are currently in Day 12 of this strike. The strike has caused the cancellation of Canada Day Celebrations on July 1st.

My Rant topic today is aimed squarely on the City, and the Unions.

First up, the City:

The Mayor and the City Council have thier collective heads up their asses. They KNEW this was a possibility. They KNEW the workers agreement would run out on the day it did. They KNEW this for months. They also KNEW that Canada Day was coming. ITS ON THE SAME DAY EVERY FRIGGIN YEAR! And yet… AND YET!!!! They made NO CONTINGENCY PLANS!

Thats right. While our Wonderful ass-breath Mayor was able to Pull his head out of his arse long enough to come up for air and take part in the Gay Pride Parade to celebrate Gay Pride Week in the city (loved it by the way! Always a Hoot and lots of Fun to watch!) that was allowed to go on, even though we HAVE A GARBAGE STRIKE that the city says would cause health concerns to us if we had Canada Day Celebrations. C’mon! Tell the truth!

MR. Ass-Breath Mayor and the Ass-Breath City Council wouldn’t DARE to cancel the Gay Pride celebrations. Why?? Because its puts $100 MILLION Dollars into the economy! Brings people from ALL OVER North America (It is the Largest Gay Pride Celebrations in The world!) And Canada Day? Oh that’s not important. Its Just the Birthday of our FRIGGIN COUNTRY!

Either our Mayor and Council are totally inept, or just don’t give a rats ass about the people of the city. See, Canada Day Celebrations don’t put that much Money into the City Coffers. We are local Folks that Don’t Travel long distances and need Hotels and Restaurants and Cabs and will want to go nuts on “I went to Canada Day in Mr. Ass-Breaths City” T-shirts. No, we are the people here that PAY OUR FRIGGN TAXES and PAY THEIR DAMM SALARIES! So we are not important enough to the Mayor and Council, because we wont Pump enough money into their Pockets for them to spend on Crazy Expenses that they charge back for their job and we end up paying for! Its just for Locals, and wont get us on the News all over the planet the same way Gay Pride will.

Oh and did I mention that Caribana, the largest Street Festival in North America is almost upon us? Another international event that is going ahead, Garbage strike or not????

PULL YOUR HEADS OUT OF EACH OTHERS ASSES MR. MAYOR! We elected you to represent us. The Visitors that come from around North America and the world to these events DON’T PAY YOUR PAYCHECK!

So next time it comes down to me putting my hard earned money into anything this City Does, You can bet your ass I will NOT be dropping ONE SINGLE FRIGGIN DIME into ANY City Run Event or anything that has ties to the City.

Now for you Mr Unions… Oh No, I didn’t forget about you… Sit down and shut up and wipe that smug look off your face RIGHT now!

You bitch and complain about wanting a fair deal with the City. Fair??? HA! The major stumbling block according to YOUR union bosses is Sick Days. Now get this for everyone who is NOT part of this strike. THEY GET 160 SICK DAYS A YEAR!…That’s right. They guy that picks up your trash, and dents YOUR Garbage Cans, and tosses the lids aside when does, so that they get run over and walked on, GETS 160 Sick Days a Year! ON TOP of his regular Vacation. Okay, not that Guy, He’s new.. But see the Guy Telling him to lift with his legs, not his back? yeah Him…

Now People, I want you to do some Math here. Add up your vacation days. Add up the other Statutory Holidays you get. I will even Help with another part. If you work Mondays to Fridays and have weekends off, you can add roughly (depends on the day of the week that the year starts on) 104 days. Okay so you say you get 4 weeks off? That’s Another 28 days. Add the regular Statutory Holidays that most get, that’s a rough total of 140 Days off each year. Give or Take. These KNOBS get that PLUS Their Damm Sick Days? How many Sick days are you allowed? Whats that? 6? 8? 14? Whoever said 14 you are Damm Lucky.

So Mr Trash Picker, you decide to Hold us all captive when trying to dump our garbage off at the temporary trash drop sites that are setup with your pickets and signs and shouting, and you expect us to have Sympathy??? You expect us to feel bad cause your collective asses get more SICK Days that we get regular Days off? You expect us to have sympathy when we have to come down and wait in lineups for HOURS to drop a couple of bags of garbage off to keep the maggots and rats at bay in our neighborhoods so our children can go out and play and we don’t have to worry? SCREW YOU! And YOUR UNIONS!

And Canada Day? Well there were your Union Bosses on TV saying “I feel bad, but we need to get an agreement” You know what? If you and your Union and its members had any BALLS at all, you would have said “We will make sure that Canada Day goes ahead, our members know what it means to the people of this city and we will pick up the trash at all event sites for that time.” But you don’t, Do you? Its all Bullshit and Smoke! Well I have some choice words for you Mr. FU-Union.

When you get back to work, when you have your sweet little contract that you desire so much. When you are back at work and saying “We are glad to be back at work” I will be the person that you find in the bar when you go for a Drink after work. I will be the one there that when he hears that you are a Proud “Sanitation Engineer” Will walk over to you, and tell you that You and Your Union CAN SUCK ROCKS. Then I will be sure to ask Everyone in the bar to talk about how they had to sit in those lineups for your FRIGGIN CONTRACT NEGOTIATION TACTICS. Then if you still have the balls to be there, I will PROUDLY Buy a Drink for EVERYONE that had to be in those lineups and had to put up with your SHIT to keep our Homes Safe from Health Concerns while you are bitching about getting MORE SICK DAYS that the rest of us Get off in a Year. At that point, I will suggest that we take you back to where you belong. Out With the trash in the Alley Behind the bar. YOU go deal with Your Job out there because We are tired of hearing about it.

And for any other union that thinks they’re shit smells any better, Let me say this. I will never ever ever again support ANY Union. In any way shape or form. In this world you are judged and remembered by YOUR OWN ACTIONS. And if you don’t have the balls to do what is Right, and you Don’t have the Courage, then Please.. Go down to the local Garbage Dump and join the rest of the Trash. I will NOT work my ass off just to have some asshole that doesn’t know me or even know what I do, tell me that Mr. Jack Shit that just got hired on deserves the same pay and benefits I do.

So, Mr Ass-Breath Mayor, Ass-Breath Members of Council, and Shit head strikers and Shit Head Union people.. Remember this……

You have pissed me off more than you could possible Imagine.

We put Schools in Neighborhoods. These neighborhoods are becoming Rat and Maggot infested Areas where Children are spending Time. You are using OUR PARK AREAS as Dump Sites, contaminating the soil where our Kids will be told to play by you ASSHOLES, after the strike is over and you scoop up the shit left there. We wont forget this. And We wont forget that the City and The Unions will learn what happens when you Screw the hand that feeds you.

If I ever run into a Member of the Dickheads of the Sanitation Union, or a Member of Council or Mr. Mayor Himself, rest assured, they will get more of an ass reaming in person than I ever would have written out here. See here, I have to read over what I say, when I see you in person, you are gonna get BOTH barrels.

Oh, By the way, can you tell I’m Pissed off???

Was at the Shelter this morning and mentioned that I had written 4 blog posts and deleted them. Misty and Vel said I should have posted them. I tried to explain that they were massive rants, and if I posted them I would have offended a lot of people. It was more for me to let off steam. Misty insisted those are the  best kind of posts, and to go for it.

However, I know what my ranting can be like. I have a weapon (aka: Mouth) and I like to use it. Probably not a good thing. So maybe its best I deleted those posts. Its probably also a good thing because I would have woken up this morning and re-read them and thought they were mean, nasty, and horrible. So where does one draw the line?

I love to write, I write a lot of stuff. Mostly I write for myself, and for Gabs. Sometimes, the stuff I write is good, other times it just devolves into a rant that is best hidden. But sometimes I really want to Rant. I just worry that when I start, its like an avalanche, and I won’t be able to contain it. So how do you Rant when you know you can go ballistic the way I can? Give me your thoughts….
